Patrick C. Crawford, cfa

Patrick is a Co-Founder of Riata Development. Prior to joining Riata Development in September of 2021, Patrick was employed at a consulting firm, Value Inc., since 2017. In his role as at Value Inc., he advised clients through mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and tax/financial reporting, in a wide range of industries, including real estate. 

Notable representative engagements in the real estate industry included consulting on a sell-side transaction involving 5 entities with $150+ million in revenue which operated as a fully integrated owner, developer, and builder of multifamily assets; a buy-side transaction representing the largest franchisee of a publicly traded fast food franchise on the purchase of the operations and real estate of 80+ locations; and, advising the founder of a real estate development company with over $100 million in annual NOI through a financial dispute with the company’s other owners. Prior to Value Inc., Patrick spent five years working for an early-stage company that operated in the technology and energy industries. His initial role was as an analyst, eventually assuming the role of Director of Finance and Strategy.

Patrick is a CFA Charterholder, a designation for finance professionals that he earned in 2018 by passing exams covering the disciplines of accounting, finance, economics, statistics, securities valuation, portfolio management, and ethics, and having met the work experience requirement. He also received his Master of Business Administration degree in 2018 from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with a dual concentration in Accounting and Finance. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Baylor University.
